Precision Agriculture generates an ever-growing volume of data that, in its raw form, adds no value to the operation or to decision-making. Agro Analítica is the independent consultancy that converts it into well-founded agronomic decisions, grounded in a thorough understanding of each plot and the variability of the operation.
Our approach is, by principle, bespoke. Like a technological tailor, each solution is conceived around the specific challenges and objectives of each client — from collecting field data to decisions grounded in facts and performance indicators. We support the operation's digital transition with a clear purpose: its agronomic, economic and environmental sustainability. As we are independent of brands and equipment, we recommend solely what best serves the client's interests.

Our services
We collect and study in detail all the critical data of your plot before the investment. We evaluate the detail and promote discussion with the aim of minimising the impact of factors that may become limiting.
We plan the crop installation in the plots based on a detailed study of soils, nutrition, digital terrain modelling and water availability. We design the operational calendar based on specifications. We coordinate and intermediate all field operations.
We identify and assess limiting factors and their economic consequences, enabling rapid and effective intervention. We act at the level of phytosanitary protection, enabling targeted intervention in specific zones allowing cost mitigation and promoting greater environmental sustainability. We create a bridge between agronomic data collected in the field and pre-defined objectives (KPIs), promoting the quantitative and qualitative results of the final product.

The team
Founder & Senior Consultant
A graduate in Agronomic Engineering since 1993, he worked for companies such as Triplanta, Bonduelle and Sociedade Agrícola da Alorna as production manager and director. Over more than 25 years working in the field, he acquired skills as a project manager, overseeing equipment, processes, budgets and people. Since 2016, he has also worked as an agronomic consultant, providing independent support to farmers. This is how the dream of creating an agricultural consultancy came about — which materialised as Agro Analítica.

Precision Agriculture Consultant
He obtained a degree and master's in Agronomic Engineering from the Instituto Superior de Agronomia, and also trained in Geographic Data Analysis and Processing. He distinguished himself early in his field, receiving an academic research fellowship for the SMARTCROP project and winning the 3rd European Farming by Satellite Prize (European Global Navigation Satellite System Agency 2013/2014). His areas of expertise are arable crops, agricultural mechanisation and, naturally, precision agriculture technologies which he works with on a daily basis.

Precision Agriculture Consultant
He obtained a degree and master's in Agronomic Engineering from ISA, specialising in Agro-Livestock and with a thesis on Precision Agriculture in Pastures. He won the best speaker award at SPPF for "Assessment of dry biomass production and botanical composition of improved dryland pastures using precision agriculture" and is also trained in Geographic Data Processing and Agricultural Machinery Operation. He bridges theory and practice on his family farm, where he carries out extensive agro-livestock and forestry activities.

Agro-Management Consultant
He graduated in Business Management and Administration from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, but soon felt that his path had to go through agriculture. He obtained a master's in Agronomic Engineering specialising in Agro-Livestock from the Instituto Superior de Agronomia, and began managing, on a private basis, a super-intensive olive grove in the Ribatejo region. He is specialised not only in precision agriculture technologies but also in business management support.
